Quote of the Day:
Doubt thou the stars are fire; Doubt that the sun doth move; Doubt truth to be a liar; But never doubt I love. (Hamlet, 1.2.123-6) Writing: Yearbook Souvenir Ever wanted to write your own book? This year you will! Each student will choose their best piece of writing and submit it for publication. We will then self-publish the book. You will have the option of ordering the book and keeping it as a souvenir. Story Corp Project
One thing that I regret never having is an audio recording of my grandparents telling stories from their youth. Storycorps on http://www.youtube.com/user/storycorps plays audio recordings that correlate with animations. These stories will tug at your heart strings and leave you feeling sentimental about your own grandparents. Students will get an audio recording of an elder in their community and will edit it down to 7-10 minutes. They will then create a picture collage and will upload this recording to youtube.com |
